Gray Goes Green is a small-time maker of affordable furniture specializing in custom pieces.

Gray Goes Green is a sustainable, green business because all of our products are made from reclaimed wood. Our custom furniture including bookshelves, tables, computer desks, hutches and cabinets are made from local, vintage wood. Most are from old Maine barns. These barns otherwise would be destined for the wrecking ball. Many boards are well over a century old!

Adirondack Furniture is made from recycled pallets Benches, Tables, footstools and benches.

For the Love of Wood and History

Steven Gray is a local furniture maker with decades of carpentry experience. Over the past several years, he’s watched as so many beautiful 19th and 20th century barns have fallen into decline and disrepair. Gray’s wood salvage and furniture business is his way of saving beautiful boards from destruction.
